Position Description
Progressive, growth-oriented training company in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst with good judgment skills, an eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential finance data. Provides quantitative detailed financial analysis from historical and forecast perspectives, both for regularly scheduled reports and on a project basis.
Major duties include:
Coordinates timely and accurate budget preparation including the annual operating and capital budgets.
Prepares monthly analytical summaries of financial statements.
Develops and maintains corporate dashboard reporting and Key Performance Indicator metrics.
Reviews/prepares monthly and quarterly analytical summaries of financial data for Board, Executives and budget-responsible individuals.
Research, selection, compilation and analysis of financial data from multiple sources,to produce business information used to support decisions.
Performs cost/benefit and modeling analysis on new program/product development projects.
Coordinates the pricing procedures, including the process for setting new prices, maintains and updates inventory item pricing.
Responsible for maintenance and distribution of non-USA local-currency financial statements.
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 4 years related work experience, preferably in the service industry. Requires technical software skills with preferred experience in: Great Plains Dynamics, SalesLogix, Microsoft Word and Excel, with system conversion experience a plus. Working knowledge of accounting functions is important. Strong customer orientation, both internal and external. Individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and lead a high performing team.
