Senior Microsoft Exchange 2007 Engineer

 PDS is looking for an Exchange SME that has the ability to design, manager, implement and administer a highly visible Exchange 2007 and 2010 projects.  The qualifying candidate must be proficient with the setup, implementation and day to day operational support of the following Microsoft products:  Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003/2007/2010 Microsoft Cluster Services, Microsoft Server 2000/2003/2008,  Active Directory, DNS Services, DHCP Services, and Group Policy as well as other Microsoft technologies. In addition to the setup and implementation of Microsoft Exchange, the qualifying candidate must be able to troubleshoot, optimize Exchange performance, perform Exchange database maintenance, Exchange database backups and restore, Exchange mailbox journaling, exchange queues monitoring, and recovery of a corrupted exchange information store.  Additionally, the qualifying candidate must have a solid understanding of all phases of a disaster recovery scenario including preparation and implementation exercises to include but not limited to Microsoft Exchange Cluster, and Microsoft Active Directory. A proven track record installing Exchange in the virtual environment is also desired.
The candidate must be able to clearly communicate both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. Strong interpersonal skills are required due to continual interaction with clients, managers, and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast paced work environment. Proven ability to work unsupervised and achieve outstanding results are an additional prerequisite.

Minimum Required:
Applicant will be subject to a full field investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate access credentials for customer locations.
-B.S. Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics, or IT related field, or comparable level of certification
-5 years of combined IT experience and working with Microsoft Exchange
-2 years of experience  working with Exchange Server 2007
-MCSE + Messaging certification
-Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Messaging Administrator
-Disaster Recovery Solutions SME
-Active Directory SME
-DNS SME
-DHCP SME
