Water Resources Engineer – Hydrogeology

This Hydrogeologist will evaluate and interpret hydrogeologic data and develop appropriate conclusions, as well as prepare detailed technical reports. Candidate should be capable of performing aquifer testing and analysis, have a strong understanding of groundwater flow mechanics, and a good understanding of geochemistry. This person will be working on multiple projects; ranging from field assessment of soil, groundwater, and sediment contamination, to aquifer characterization and groundwater modeling for the support of remediation design and construction, site redevelopment, and landfill design.

Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of related experience
• At least a masters or equivalent in Geology, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Natural Resources or Civil Engineering
• Ability to do and oversee soils and groundwater investigations and aquifer testing, including the preparation of work plans. Candidate must be willing to operate and maintain field testing and monitoring equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in particular report writing) are required
