Charter Aarrowcast is hiring for a Shipping Coordinator!

This role will direct all aspects of outgoing product including system related transactions along with applicable paperwork to prepare orders for shipment. The Shipping Coordinator will expedite work as needed, prepare all appropriate paperwork, and determine the best methods for shipping. This role is responsible for Inventory Control including cycle counts and overall inventory accuracy and will handle majority of Oracle EBS transactions and truck scheduling.

What you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Two plus years' experience in a shipping environment.

  • Experience with packing slips, bill of ladings, receipts, cycle counting, inventory management, and computer entry.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, problem solving skills, and basic math skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with all levels of an organization.

  • Proven interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Experience interacting directly with customers.

  • Strong computer skills, especially with Oracle Forms, WMS handhelds, and Outlook.

  • Proven success in working as a team.

  • Proven analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings.

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.

  • Forklift Certification.

What we'd prefer:

  • Experience in an ERP system environment.

  • Experience working with 3PL and truck line industry.

  • Experience with inventory control techniques and application.

  • Formal team and leadership training with demonstrated success from past team experiences.

  • Self-starter requiring little or no supervision.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Continuous improvement experience.

What you'll do:

  • Organize, prioritize, and control incoming trucks and pickups.

  • Perform inventory control including cycle counts and maintain overall inventory accuracy.

  • Prepare and distribute daily production shipment schedules and revisions and all applicable work instructions.

  • Prepare and distribute daily production shipment/production summaries.

  • Submit AVO requests to sales regarding customer due dates and quantities.

  • Coordinate, prepare, and stage sales order for pick up or delivery via pick planner report.

  • Coordinate with truck lines and customers while maintain warehouse schedules.

  • Manage and perform all system related transactions and related paperwork.

  • Demonstrate professionalism and provide superior customer service with both internal and external clients.

  • Demonstrate company values and create an environment of teamwork and engagement.

  • Provide direction, train, and mentor employees.

  • Focus on quality. Achieve results in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost, and processes.
