Position Summary:

This position will be responsible supporting our Account Executive team who manage and generate revenue for all current MedInsight clients. The position will have the ability to grow into the Account Executive team in year 2. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for adhering to the formal account management, sales, and customer success organization processes.

You will work with the current Account Executives and customer success organization to create and/or refine the MedInsight Account Management process including the development of standard tools and processes, and you will be responsible for monitoring the firm's adherence to such standards and processes. You will work to support clients in helping execute the overall objectives of the MedInsight account executive program. These objectives include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the generation of additional revenue from existing clients (through additional MedInsight solutions or tools)
  • Developing communication templates that can be used across all books of business
  • Standardizing CRM requirements
  • Supporting annual renewal process
  • Supporting product upsell and cross sells
  • Strategic planning with clients and assigned Account Executive
  • Account Management of assigned accounts

You will also work with other account management and client services staff, with responsibility for tasks such as renewals, processing/managing BAAs with clients, facilitating change request orders, assisting with accounts receivables, distribution of key client communications, and coordination of client training.

The selected applicant will have direct, daily client contact and interaction. Some travel (up to 25%) to client locations will be required. Strong client management, project management and organizational skills are required for successful management of MedInsight clients. In addition, a strong, working knowledge of the healthcare analytics market would also enhance the candidate's ability to succeed in this position. This is a position on the Account Executive (inside sales and account management) team, with the goal of developing into an Account Executive position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Finalize, refine, and revisit periodically the Account Executive processes and protocols that will govern the Account Executive discipline.
  • Monitor and document against the current standards and processes.
  • Support Account Executives to work closely, and communicate consistently, with Milliman Strategic Advisors in direct support of One Milliman efforts
  • Partner with, and assist, account executives and client services staff.
  • Instruct clients on using MedInsight products.
  • Renewal documentation and contracting
  • Maintenance of monthly billing for assigned client base.
  • Client Management
  • This position may also perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned by supervisor, or as may be required to meet project team goals and objectives.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in related fields (healthcare) plus at least two years of proven experience in analytics, account management, or other technology solutions.
  • A working knowledge of the healthcare analytics industry.
  • Ability to effectively manage concurrent projects; strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with little supervision.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Detailed orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation and Location:

  • The salary range is $60,000 to $117,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role can be located remotely within the U.S.
