Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer who is passionate about driving positive change. Your primary responsibilities will involve leveraging data to identify and resolve issues within our desktop environment, while consistently enhancing our Windows environment for improvements. Additionally, you'll be guiding team members, tackling complex technical challenges efficiently, communicating problems and solutions to leadership, and consistently enhancing the environment to ensure an improved user experience. *Not open to fully remote candidates, must be able to by onsite in the West Bend office at a minimum of 1 day per week*

Responsibilities & Qualifications
    Providing data-driven problem analysis by leveraging monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies within our desktop environment.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, for continuous optimization of desktop configurations to improve performance, stability, security, and user satisfaction.
  • Key resource in documenting and maintaining comprehensive records of configurations and procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team expertise.
  • Managing vendor relationships and coordinating resolution efforts for escalated technical issues.
  • Responsible for evaluating products against organizational standards and providing mentorship to team members, sharing best practices and guiding team development while serving as a key escalation point for unique technical problems.
  • Management and administering of Windows, Office 365 suite, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Active Directory Group Policy.
  • Maintain and enhance Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint protection.
  • Configuring and optimizing the virtual desktop environment to ensure seamless remote access capabilities and efficiency for our end users.
  • Developing and automating administrative tasks using scripting technologies such as PowerShell to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Optimizing and enhance Intune (Endpoint Manager) for management of desktop fleet.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and changes to ensure comprehensive knowledge sharing and compliance with organizational standards.

Preferred Education and Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or equivalent (desired).
