KeyLogic Systems has an immediate opportunity for a Software Developer Intern in support of our newly acquired company, OnLocation, Inc.

Position Description: 

Join OnLocation to gain "hands-on" experience in workflow management, data analytics, simulation modeling support, visualizations, solution architecture and application development in a professional working environment. This is a paid internship within OnLocation's respected energy sector modeling team. 

Position Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have experience and or coursework in topic areas related to Data Science, Computer Science, or related subjects. Interns will be provided with supplemental techincal training to enable success in a "hands-on" work environment. 

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • In the process of obtaining a Degree (or a recent graduate) in Computer Science, Data Science, or another applicable degree that emphasizes software development and programming.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including documentation.
  • Knowledge and some proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Python, R, JavaScript, Java, C or similar languages.
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  • Familiarity with utilizing various databases including SQL, MySQL, SQLite, NoSQL, etc. in a software development context. 
  • Database/memory/file system optimization and architecture development.
  • Algorithmic design and machine learning techniques for efficient and scalable solving of computational complex calculation, data processing, and automated reasoning tasks.
  • Application Program Interfaces (APIs) development
  • Application development for web and/or mobile platforms
  • Statistical modeling, experimental design, sampling, clustering, data reduction, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, feature engineering, and predictive modeling.
  • Cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, and MS Azure.
  • Interest in energy and environmental modeling.
