Robinson and its forerunner has played an active role in northeastern Wisconsin’s economy for nearly a century. Beginning with Al Robinson’s initial business venture in 1923 and continuing through the rest of the 20th century under the leadership of Al’s sons, Maurie and Tom, Robinson has earned a reputation as a trusted partner for a wide range of customers.

Today’s Robinson is a single-source metal solutions provider employing more than 500 people at facilities in De Pere and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. With expertise in enclosures, and ASME piping and vessels, Robinson offers end-to-end solutions. Our three locations comprise 500,000 square feet of climate-controlled manufacturing space.

Robinson, Inc. didn’t start out as a fabricating powerhouse with cutting-edge capabilities, but we’ve always had metal in our blood. Al Robinson, founder of Badger Sheet Metal, raised sons Maurie and Tom Robinson in the world of metal. Their entrepreneurial spirit is the core of Robinson today: a state-of-the-art facility, a dedicated workforce, and quality workmanship.

Robinson commits well over $250,000 a year in donations to local charities and groups like The Golden House, Ribbon of Hope, CP, The Salvation Army, Ducks Unlimited and the Green Bay Police Foundation.  In addition, we encourage and support our employees volunteering time to local community events.  We have on-site blood drives, we man The Salvation Army Red Kettles during the holiday season, and we donate a high efficiency furnace and installation to a Brown County family in need each year.

We are especially proud of our commitment to local little league and high school athletic teams, sponsoring countless teams over our 40 plus-year history.
