CNC Operator
Embark on a rewarding journey as a CNC Operator on the 2nd shift with exciting opportunities for overtime. Your role involves precision in setting up and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring the manufacturing of top-notch parts. Shift: 2nd, (3pm-1:30am)
Pay: $21/hr + $2/hr shift premium
Job Description:
- Plan and organize daily workload to accommodate production schedule.
- Transport parts from racking and staging area utilizing a forklift.
- Safely operate an Up Cut saw in order to cut parts to sizes.
- Properly mark and stage cut parts on carts used to supply the CNC milling operations.
- Review specification to determine setup procedures, dimensions, and machining sequences required to manufacture parts.
- Set up and operate a CNC mill with appropriate tooling.
- Load CNC programs into machine consoles by entering preprogrammed machine instructions.
- Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or questionable conditions.
